Fibromyalgia flare up in my hands

I have had many flare ups with my fibromyalgia, mostly in my back and feet. I have not taken any medications but I have had treatments from the chiropractor for my back and got amazing results. I also wore boots to bed for my feet...again great results. Now I have been having a lot of pain lately in my hands. I have asked my doctor about it and he says my fibromyalgia should not affect my hands. I guess I am curious if anyone else has had this problem and if so what you are doing to help with the pain. I don't know how much more I can take at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

Your doctor is wrong, Fibro has always affected my hands. Typing a lot or doing a lot with my hands aggravates it.

I have not been told I have fibromyalgia, but I have seen a specialist about my pains and my regular doctor thought it to be RA with a blood test and then it was thought to be gout.  The specialist said it was neither and thought it to be tendonitis.  He also took a blood test.  About 2 years ago, I had horrible pain in my shoulder blades for a couple of days.  Now the last couple of days, I have woken up with the pain in my right shoulder. Originally, the first night, I thought I had slept wrong. Back in October and November of last year, I would wake up with horrible pain in my right hand and it was almost every night.  By the time I got into a specialist, or course, the pain was gone.  Someone at work made the suggestion that it could be fibromyalgia. For me, I am unsure of what I have.  I plan to check with my doctor about seeing another specialist, as I was not comfortable with the last one for other reasons.  So I have been affected with this horrible pain in my right hand, both shoulder blades and right shoulder now.  The longest the pain has last at any time was in my right hand for 2 months.
