Fibromyalgia for 3 years in December!!!

Posted , 3 users are following.

In December 2014, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, earlier that year I was put on Thyroxine (I was made aware in 2010 that the day would eventually come), now I’ve just been diagnosed with PCOS! I’m completely failing my exams, it feels like my life is falling apart, has anyone got any advice about how to make this any better? I just feel so alone, I have so many people helping me and I’m so great full, but somehow I feel alone? Does anyone else feel like this?  ❤️

It can be very isolating and debilitating, the condition is so poorly understood and therefore very little support.

I'm on my road to recovery.....

The symptoms are reducing, it takes dedication and a lot of self belief.

It's not easy but living with this is much harder so it's not difficult to choose the route.

I've had to address every aspect of my life and make adjustments.

I'm starting a programme soon and have a lot of info regarding treatment if you are interested let me know.

    Best wishes

Have you been told that people with fibro often get depression? It maybe worth looking into. You can symptom check if they match what you are going through then talk to your GP.

Even if you don't have depression it's definitely normal to feel alone despite you not being physically alone
