Yes I do have a pain like that. Not all the time but a lot of the time. I have so many pains in different areas of my body, my hands, my feet, my Nick,  The list goes on and in.

Hi Sadie, Yes I do get that sort of pain. With Fibro the pain just seems to attack in different areas at any given time. There is not logic to it. Lately, for months now, it has been my lower back. Try putting heat on the area Sadie. It will find another location soon sweetie. Heh heh! Chin up! Maggie x

Hi, just read your post and yes I get pain in upper back and shoulders, although I have got disc problems osteoporosis. I was told by my rheumatoid consultant that the pain in my upper body and arms was due to referred pain from my neck. Are you flaring at the moment? Best wishes anyway.

Hey Sadie, I also have fibro and I have severe troubles with my left shoulder/upper back. It feels like swollen muscles that are pinching nerves and it going under the blade and into my arm. I started going to the chiropractor and it has made all the difference in the world. I hardly ever get fibro flares that attack my shoulder anymore. It’s amazing how much relief there was. They told me that one of my ligaments near the base of my neck was slightly moved out of place and putting pressure on a nerve. I would really give it a try
