RASHES A rash can develop on the body, as a result of dry skin and itching. The skin rashes appear as raised bumps on the skin.

DRY SKIN  Dry cracked flakey skin can appear any where on the body.Sometimes the dry skin will peel and can cause pain and discomfort.

ITCHY SKIN.  Itchy skin rashes can appear all over the body, sometimes scratching of the skin can lead to sores, and infection.

MOTTLED SKIN  Our skin can sometimes change colour, appearance or tone. Dark spots can appear all over the body, exposure to the sun,can cause the spots to become red and swollen.

TENDER SKIN   Sometimes the slightest touch of the skin can hurt. The sensitive skin can cause problems from redness, swelling , bruising, and scaring.

In recent days Ive noticed my skin has become very dry and flakey. Are any of you experiencing problems with your skin.    gentle hugs to all xx

I am not sure if it just my skin or if it me being allergic to a medicine, but I itch.

was you itching before you started taking your medicine, if so then it could be down to fibro as fibro can cause us skin problems, if itching started after taking the medicine then that would imply it could be down to medicine? take care gentle hug

    Hi Kaz,

I get dry skin on my lower legs which can be itchy. My GP says I have eczema.

I also have very sensitive skin usually upper outer arms and outer thighs. I'm told this is due to fibro.

      Hi Katz,

i here wrapping oats in a muslin bag and hanging it under running water when you have a bath and/or washing with it helps immensely. I tried it when I had a patch of eczema and it soothed and moisturised my skin. Coconut oil/ butter is said to be very good too.

As for the nudist colony?.......I gave it some thought and decided against scaring the natives 😳 thanks anyway 😂

      Gentle hugs xx

      Hi Kaz,

you can get muslin squares from Lakeland fill it with Quakers oats and tie, use like a soft soft sponge or soak it and squeeze fluid onto skin. The cocoa butter can be bought from the body shop.

Me too...only can shower, we have a walk in shire and I have a special chair in there..it's soo good..I just sit and let the beautiful warm water flow down my back..only trouble is having to dry myself off with arthritic fingers ..lol..always something isn't there? Our bath is still new..even with handrails...I'd really love to get in it..just can't climb over or sit that low...my husband only ever uses it if he goes on a long motorbike ride..which maybe once a year..he prefers showers too..be blessed Kaz..have a lovely day,,:-) xxx
