Fighting for each breath!

I'm just beyond frustrated!! I'm doing everything I can do get healthy, but nothing helps!

I feel like I'm fighting for each inhale all day, everyday. I have to try so hard just to breathe! When I do breathe in, it feels like the air is just gets lost somewhere, and doesn't reach my lungs. I can never get a deep, satisfying breath. Some days I feel like I am choking. I honestly don't know how much more of this I can take.

I do everything possible. I lead a low stress life, I meditate, do yoga, breathing exercises, therapy, and nothing is helping. This just started randomly few weeks ago, out of nowhere, and I just don't know how to make it stop.

If you relate, or have been able to improve these symptoms, please share. I really need it - thank you so much!

I can relate to you. I’m going through that now although I have a few more symptoms besides the breathing issue. The only thing that works temporarily are my meditation exercises. but it just doesn’t last long enough. I started a medication for anxiety but it just makes me a little sleepy. It’s so frustrating because here we are doing everything possible with no relief. I would rather have A broken toe for example that once it’s fixed it’s done! This just goes on and on and on.this tends to go for a while, then stop, then return again for me at least. i’m sorry this is happening to you.I hope you find some relief!

Thank you for your response Jan. I know, I would much rather have a broken toe, or something else physical than this. I'm sorry you are going through this too. When your symptoms stop, anything specific that makes them stop? Anything else you do to manage symptoms? I just finished some low impact cardio exercise and yoga. Although I have throat tightness when exercising, afterwards, for a bit, I feel slightly better. At least my overall mood improves. So that's something. Hope we feel better soon 😃

yes I also do yoga which seems to help somewhat. I find that when I get out a little bit and socialize that way it takes my mind off of things. I do yoga outside with a group of ladies. I also use the elliptical exercise machine at the fitness center when it’s not too busy. so when the anxiety and breathing issues subside, it seems to be after I do some exercise and sometimes it’s just random. for me the busier I am the better.
