Hello, only created this account to share what worked. This forum has been life saver. What didn't for me. AC vinager, hydrogen peroxide douching alone, tea tree oil and coconut oil tampons, acidophilus, folic acid, and metro gel worked but it came back in a week. Vitamin C 500 with Rosehips didnt work, and it gave me a yeast infection. I read about a study where women inserted a 250 mg Vitamin C pill in the morning and at night and alot of women found this to be a cure. I thought 500mg didn't work for me Plus I got a yeast infection so how could 250mg work???!!! Well I was desperate. The first night I douched with hydrogen peroxide and water, then inserted the pill in my vagina and went to sleep. I put one in the next morning and night for 4 nights. The smell was still there by day 2 but by day 4 it was Gone!! The 250mg was the gentle yet effective answer! PLEASE try it, even if 500mg didn't work for you. Keep going because it takes up to week but it's worth it !

Update. So I had my period and went to the gyno as well because I needed to know if The BV was gone. The Symptom of the smell went away(only symptom I ever really had), but I still tested positive for BV. The Vit C made a huge huge difference in the smell but it doesn't kill the actual BV technically. Its a great option and doesn't burn because of the low mg, so I'll treat with metro gel and do the 250mg Vit C if and well the smell comes back. I'm happy there's an answer, just wish it was a permanent one
