Finally been referred

had haemorrhoids for years and stomach issues, took longer to diagnose due to covid and not been able to see doctors, but ive ibs and gluten intolerant but over this time the haemorrhoids have gotten worse, prolapsed and bleed with BM , doctors finally listened and agree with me that they need removing, heard storys and i know its not a pleasant recovery but i need to try, as its embarrassing and uncomfortable so finally got my letter through that id been transferred to the surgeon - finally !! (god knows when ill actually get a date)

how long are people usually off work for ? i work at a hospital in catering and stores department, so on my feet all day ?
