Finally broke down!

After 7 weeks of little to no sleep every night, I had my Dr. Prescribe some sleeping pills today. I tried everything I could think of and that had been suggested to no avail. There's nothing wrong with having to take sleeping pills, I was just hoping not to. So will see how tonight goes!! Anyone else out there not sleeping?

Hi Carla, I am 8wks post op,lack of sleep has been a big problem for me also , nothing seems to aid sleep even though I can sleep on my non op side as long as I want. I am active during the day, walking, swimming , plus all the usual things I did before , housework, grandchildren to collect from school etc. I do make sure I have "me time ", so why doesn,t the "elusive" sleep happen. Your suggestions would be most welcome from any of you other hippies. Xxx suzy

Suzybobs, I've tried everything, all the over the counter meds out there, essentials oils, shutting TV and all devises off an hour before bedtime. I work 8 hours a day and do physical therapy every night, so I'm always tired, I just can't get comfortable and toss and turn all night 😞 took my first sleeping pill last night, slept for 8 hours, woke up 3 times to reposition but fell right back to sleep and woke up feeling refreshed and ready to go. 😀

It helps to know that there are a lot of us on this roller coaster ride.

On a side note; praying for Paris, so sad of all the terror going on right now.
