Finding the missing link to bv recurrence

hi everyone,

i have been searching for the link between bv and my recurrences. i know everyone is different, but have you all been tested for hormone imbalance and glucose plasma? it is all started to make sense and i believe the root cause is an excess of sugar intake OR insulin resistance (which means you might not overdo sugar your body just has an improper response to your body properly processing insulin) - ppl with PCOS have extremely high susceptibility to diabetes. even if you are not diagnosable for pcos your body could just produce more testosterone than it should. i believe that is the case for me because i am prediabetic (barely just slightly over normal) and i am also hairy with cystic back acne. however my periods are like clockwork and i dont have multiple cysts on the ovary (follicular ones). being prediabetic or diabetic makes you susceptible to guess what?? VAGINAL INFECTIONS.

sugar (even artificial) can damage your gut microbiome and that is where bv starts, THE GUT. ladies check your blood for hormonal imbalance AND glucose (glucose plasma and A1C test)if drs suspect diabetes they WILL do further testing. but even if you are prediabetic you CAN reverse diabetes! i plan to do just that .. i will keep you posted on results and progress wishing you all luck in finding the missing link!!

haha im from the usa so not rly too sure! well results for hormones came back and i dont have pcos nor am i "prediabetic" according to my A1c test but i am VERY low in vitamin d and slightly slow in b12. i was only taking 2000 iui d3 but the endo raised it to 5000 and to start taking a b12 complex 500 mg. maybe because the vitamin d is so low it can be tre reason? IDK!
