My fingernail has slowly been coming detached from the fingernail bed. It has gotten to the point now that it is detached down to the cuticle. I've tried cutting off the detached part and putting petroleum jelly on the nail bed with a bandage. I've been doing this for about 4-5 months and haven't seen any progress. Please help. Thanks!
