First-Call cardiac monitor and problem

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone else has had difficulties with First-Call Medical out of MA? I had a mobile cardiac telemetry monitor from them. I had several technical issues with it and some questions, so I called several times. The power on the monitor kept going out. Trying to deal with them though was a nightmare. Conflicting answers. They were going to send a new monitor, then when I called with a different question I was told there was nothing wrong with the monitor I had b/c it had recorded 16 events in two days, so therefore, it was working! I suggested that that didn't mean it was working all the time. Then they told me that I had made too many phone calls and that they were unenrolling me from service! It was pretty upsetting, but also very strange. I don't know what my rights are here. It seems like a breach of contract or service since it was supposed to be a 30-day monitor and I was only on it for 2 days. Just wondering if anyone had had difficulties with First-Call or had any thoughts.

Thank you!

Did you order it direct from them, or through a doctor?

Of course they sound like total a-holes.

Though I've worn these things a bunch of times, and never really been happy with anything about them.
