First Day

Hello, I am 14 years old and I just started 10mg Prozac for depression and bad anxiety and panic attacks. When I first took the pill I felt a bit upbeat and then it all went down from there. Later on my stomach started to hurt very badly, yawning alot but not able to sleep, I've been up all night because of the stomach pain will this go away soon? Should I be worried?

    Hi Daniel

Dont worry, this is very normal and these symptoms will pass.  You might find your anxiety will get much worse too in the beginning, but again that will pass.  You should start to feel very slightly better after about 2 weeks, and you should improve as time goes by.

Good luck, and keep in touch here.  There are many people to support you.

    K :-)

It will, and you might find you'll get other side effects too, but they should all pass.

      Good luck! confused
