First full colonoscopy done, all is well!!

Had my colonoscopy and no spreading or inflammation!smile small red patch on the right side which he thinks is caused by the citrofleet but all is good! Couldn't be happiersmile

    good news re inflammation and the patch? my "guess" would be TJ compromise...ask your Dr if a biopsy was taken? and if so, status of the protective proteins?...most recent study (with meese) illustrated the n-3PUFA's reduced inflmmation, via these proteins, and thus promoted the closing of the TJ (tight junctions). n-3PUFA (omega 3 fatty acid) or "poly unsaturated fatty acid)..cannot be "oxidized" or will further inflammation. dr will or should know best food/supplementation...my dr suggested fresh mackeral, sardines, non farmed salmon, and or supplemention of epa/dha. good luck...claudio

      He took biopsies to double check but he's pretty sure it's just from the citrofleet, I will ask him on my next appointment next month.
