Currently waiting for my ECG in January for irregular and fast heart rate also chest pain. I am now feeling worse in a different way I keep having episode where I feel slightly dizzy, weak and lack of control, I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but these episodes are becoming more frequent, has anyone experienced similar symptoms with heart issues as well.

Thanks in advance.

If you are worried, ring 111 and explain your symptoms to them for advice. If you keep getting chest pains, don't be afraid to ring 999. Better safe than sorry and you will get an ECG straight away at A&E.

Why are you having to wait so long for an ECG? Are you on medications?

Hi billie i suffer exact same but y u waitin til jan for ecg? U can get done in casualty if u go in or ask nurse at ur gp. I had holter done jus waiting on the result but woke again this am with heart racingn pounding sscary n horrible feeling in chest. Ive had lots of ecg and all ok in sinus rythem but ivr an irregular heartbeat like alot of people. Im focusing more on my heart n get desperate chest pains, tingling short breath so on. Dr keeps saying all ok n myst b panic r anxiety even thoughI  am not anxious its bizarre!  Have u had other tests done r on ny meds?  Try deep breath in it really helps let us no how ur ecg goes we all in same boat but if in doubt n u ave no diagnosis go to hospital

I am having to wait till January as they are all booked up till then, I had one with the nurse on Monday which was a 15 second ECG, she was happy with it but I was feeling a bit better then, but still being referred for a 24 hour ECG. No not on meds, thanks for the reassurance.

Hi Billie, yes know exactly where you are coming from, I was having extreme  sudden onsets of fatigue where I couldn't stand up but since taking Diltiaxem that has almost stopped and I only have the occasional weakness. I have Unstable Angina so never know what brings it on or when it will happen.
