First outbreak

Hello, I recently had a very strong outbreak and I am assuming this is the first time. Prior to this maybe six months ago I had developed a very small rash that disappeared in two days. My question would it be possible that the second outbreak be much stronger than the first?

as far as i have read and i have learned about the genital herpes, the first outbreak is much stronger and severe in the majority of cases

Not so common, but it's possible. A 2-day rash is too short for a first outbreak, however. If you get blood tested for herpes IgG antibodies now you can find out if this is a new infection or not.

No, only whether this is a herpes infection or not. The IgG test cannot normally be used to determine new/existing infections either, except when a first outbreak is suspected and confirmed by swab. A positive swab + negative IgG test means a new infection. A positive swab + positive IgG test means an existing infection. You will need to get the IgG test done asap, before detectable antibody production. Only test for IgG, not IgM.
