so i had noticed discharge a few days ago, i made a dr appt and he said it sounded like a yeast infection, by the next day my butt was on fire, it hurts to poop or even fully sit down. i have to bite on a towel and the pain is just unbearable! i cant even let my 2 year old follow me to the restroom anymore this is trslly destroying me. i went back to the dr a day later because i could not tale the pain, i left work and sure enough they checked my areas and the dr says it looks like herpes, i was shocked, in disbelief, i was crying and crying. today im on day 3 of the aciclovir and im just wondering when does this pain go away??? i spray myself with a squirt bottle to pee but the part that hurts most is my butt,and now i have a big rash around it as well, its horrible:/ i get chills, and had a low grade fever 2 days, i cant even tell my mom whats wrong and shes already suspiscious because ive missed work 3 days 😦 any advice 😦 does it get better?

    hello, i posted my own story yesterday. please check it out because i have some tips there and it could make you feel better. the worst pain for me is pooping as well. buy lidocaine and vaseline from the store, mix those together and put them on any parts that hurt, it can go on genitals and butt. although it is over the counter, i did ask my gyno before using it. i know this is gross but pooping and peeing in the bath tub is less painful and you can clean it after w clorox. you can also get a sitz bath, a mini bath you put on the toilet. i hope you feel better.

      i just bought that ointment today and it did nothing for me:( it was still pretty bad:( ive managed to keep a squirt bottle next to me and it calms the stinging a while but ny bun overall just stays sore and in pain 😕 like a sharp stool is on the edge of coming out

    also i know this sounds dumb but try to downplay the pain tell yourself when you’re going to the bathroom it’s not that bad it’s not that bad that you can do it and that you can get through this

    hi, i know this is a year later but i need some advice. currently waiting on a swab test result. they've given me antibiotics as looks like the infection is also infected (yay me!)

    I'm in so much pain I've cried the past 3 days, can't sleep, urinating is horrendous and I just tried to have a BM and screamed, cried, bled and had to give up and stand with a cold shower head under my bits..

    please someone tell me this gets better and any BM or urinating tips (tried the shower and pouring water).. I'm at my wits end and honestly wishing for the end.
