First Ovarian Cyst, scared.

Hi! I’m new here and hoping that someone can possibly calm my nerves!!!

I went to the ER 3 weeks ago in a lot of pain on my right side, it felt like kidney stone pain...but after tests were done I was told I had a 4cm cyst on my right ovary. This is my first time ever having a cyst. The pain continued and I ended back at the ER a week later, this time they also found a small cyst on my left ovary. I have been in pain for 3 weeks, my tummy is so bloated that I can’t wear my usual clothing, I’m nauseous , have diarrhea, extremely fatigued, some small amount of bleeding and pain in my tummy, side and lower back that worsens with any amount of movement. I have an appointment with my Gyn on Monday.

A little back story, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2008. Thankfully it was caught at a very early stage and the only treatment I needed was a hysterectomy. I begged the doctor to take my ovaries as well, I didn’t want to have to “worry” about them for the rest of my life and now all these years later....I’m worried sick!

I’ve been doing a lot of research, which maybe wasn’t good for me because everything I read scared me even more. I seem to have all the symptoms of ovarian cancer, I’m hoping someone can tell me I’m reading too much into it. This has caused me to be super depressed and the waiting is the worst, Monday can’t come soon enough, hopefully I get some positive answers. Thank you.

    I was diagnosed with a 11cm ovary cyst at the start of January this year on my right ovary. I'm only 23.  They first thought mine was my appendix until the done a scan. I am having an op in April but they discussing my case with cancer team as my ct and MRI scan isn't clear as I have a soild part to mine. 

    Searching on google is the worst thing you could do- I did that and it made me depressed and panic even more than I was so I would say don't search anything plus google isn't a doctor at all.

      The symptoms of ovary cancer and ovary cyst are roughly the same so don't worry - I know it's hard though. 

      I agree waiting is the worst but you are looking into it too much! Have they done blood tests for tumor markers ??
