Hi I would like to ask how you cope without eating solid food. I have not had a proper diagnosis as yet. in fact ive recently had a barrium swallow and it showed that I have GORD and osophageal dysmotility. I am due to have an endoscopy which I hope will be soon. I am finding it very difficult well actually impossible to eat any solid food as it is getting stuck high in my osophagus. I am currently taking omeprazole for the acid reflux, my question is could the acid reflux have caused this and will it get better with the medication. I have had this now for about three months, I try to keep positive but find it difficult to get the correct nourishment my body needs through liquid. I have lost 1 1/2 stone during the time I have had this and feel very tired and weak at doing the least little task. I am currently off work sick and would like to get back but it is a very physical job and as I am tired all the time would be hard. How do you manage this illness on a long term basis. Any replies would be appreciated.
