    Hello there.

Sounds like a few things that I've encountered, cold sores included. If you touch it with your tongue do you feel pulsing, like your heart beat? Also, a preventitive product I use for my outbreaks (a lip balm containing oregano oil) can be found at

Hi there, no mine is on the bottom of of my lower lip so no feeling of pulsing like you describe.  Now that was very interesting you mentioning oil of oregano as im a great believer in this for curing many things. I mix this with some olive oil and use on my teeth and gums when i get flare ups, it always works so i have been tubbing same mix over the area on my lip several times in the day and at night before i sleep. So far its keeping it small and looks like its drying up.  I will look up the lip balm you mentioned as well thanks. im sure i can find the link hopefully.!
