First time Herpes

So I phoned the doctor and receptionist wouldn’t let me speak to a doctor. She said because I’ve been givin 25 tablets to take over a 5 day period that I should take them and if on Monday I still have symtoms to come to the doctor. I’ll finish my prescription tomorrow but I have to do without on the weekend? I don’t see the point in stopping medication for 2 days of the symptoms are still there any advise?

Guessing they prescribed you with a 5 day treatment and would like to see if you react at the lowest possible dose of treatment. Though did you ask the receptionist of when your day 5 day treatment is done and you’re still experiencing symptoms what should you do? What medication did they put you on anyway?

The put me on accrovile and I asked and she said if you get symtoms then come back on Monday. But that’s what I mean if the symtoms are still pretty bad right now I highly doubt another 5 tablets are going to help which means I’ll need to wait until Monday just to get put back on pills I don’t understand

Accrovile? Never heard of it. And i know I’ve shared a article with dealing with herpes naturally. I would suggest you try and find a meal plan that you can follow. Some people recommend taking L Lysine to help with breakouts. Some people soak in warm water and dry them with a hair dryer obviously no excessive heat that might irritate them more. I don’t know how easy it would be for you to get your hands on organic Virgin unrefined coconut oil. Apply a small amount on the infected area. As well as adding a few drops of tea tree oil. If you’re feeling brave you could use oregano oil but be careful with amount you use of the oil since it can give you a chemical burn. That’s why you should always apply a carrier oil (coconut oil) first. There are herbal supplementa that you can take as well. I personally take a product called herpanacine which does help me. So in summary boost your immunity up, eat properly, get rest, drink lots of water to flush your body out, and use antiviral supplements and oils. Hope this helps. I’m sorry with how the doctors treat you. They seem to lack compassion.

You’re welcome. Glad to help. They should have prescribed you medication for 7-10 days for the initial outbreak. For 5 days sounds like more for when you already been through your first outbreak.

Yeh I was thinking that myself 🤔 I have an appointment tomorrow and I’m going to tell them I need more medication. This is my first ever time having an outbreak and ever having anything like this I don’t even get cold sores. The doctor asked me this I just don’t understand why she didn’t give me enough of them, anyway like i said I’m going to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully I’ll get this sorted thankyou for all the help

You’re welcome. And good luck with dealing with them tomorrow. If you have any questions regarding medications or anything to do with herpes write them down and be prepared to ask the doctor and make sure they get answered and explained in a way that makes sense to you and that you’re confident with the information they gave you.
