First week weigh in

and I've lost half a stone.....well, just over but i'll save the other quarter of a pound up for next week which obviously won't be as dramatic! I'm really really happy. I've now gone from 3 and a half stone to lose to 3 stone to lose, which is a nice pyschological boost (will be nicer next week when I can hopefully say that I have less than 3 stone to lose).

Did have a bit of constipation in the first week, although it wasn't like constipation...no pain or feeling the urge to go at all. I spoke to the pharmacist who said it was probably my body adjusting to the different diet rather than anything with the Orlistat and I've been regular the last two days.

Only concern that I have is that I'm on holiday on Saturday for a week. We are self catering which helps and I don't want to deny myself completely so have decided that I will stick with the diet in terms of fat grams and calories but will enjoy a drink in the evening and stick to something like vodka and diet coke.

With the kids on half term last week, I was doing Wii Fit for an hour every other day but this week i'm going to do half an hour every day to make it more of a routine......do school run (walk it and not drive) come home do wii fit, have breakfast and shower....just hope that I can resume it easily enough when I get back off hols.

    Well done Terrie :D

That is fantastic!!! If you are determined and have positivity as you do...you will easily go back into routine once kids are back to school. Holiday will be a challenge, as is everyday when you trying to lose weight. Just remember the less than 3 stone mark and that should give you the drive to keep at it.

    Congrats....

Cheers everyone. I really do feel good. Last night was a bit challenging as my eldest had a modelling job straight from school and didn't get out til half nine and was really hungry so stopped in macdonalds on the way back and I had to hold the bag.....the smell was so tempting but resisted and had a snack a jack when i got in! Feeling postitive today though.

Well done for not giving in to temptation. I know what you mean though as my boys often bring home a takeaway when they've been out of an evening and my husband delivers for a Chinese Takeaway -It does get easier to say No Thank You.
