Fissure due to stenosis

Hi I’m 4months post haemorrhoidectomy

Still have bleeding after bm.  It’s like my anal opening is smaller so passing any stool is tearing me up every few days so I’m constantly nursing a fissure type injury.

My stool is soft in my opinion as I’m on a veggie rich diet plus eat dried fruit and take two softeners a night, but just having a bowel movement no matter how soft  is a traumatic task

I haven’t noticed my stool to be particularly thin but just the blood after Is distressing me.

Has anyone experienced this??

I guess we all have that have a fissure

Try sitz bath with Epsom salts and coconut oil

    I take 2 x Senna and 2 x Movicol

    Lots of water !

    I use Rectogesic cream

Proktis m and forces of nature fissure control

It’s a horrible condition and we can sympathize with you

Do not push either let it come naturally - when I first had my fissure I pooped in the sitz bath in hot water as hot as I could bear horrible I know but it helped!!

      Thanks Tasha

      I’m in Australia

I’ve read something abt dilating yourself at home. Have you heard of this??

I’m just so worried that this anal bleeding is due to something more serious

However it does feel like just the anus.   I hate seeing blood. It’s like every 3-4 days
