Hi everyone me again. After my complicated surgeries for diverticulitis and abscess, I have had ongoing bladder and back pain. I have noticed in the last week or so that I am urinating from my back passage has anyone had this problem , has anyone had a fistula ? . From what I'm reading that is one of the symptoms of a fistula.

I have a vaginal fistula due to DV. When I have loose bowels or I'm gassy, it will pass through my vagina. The fistula is very small, so its not a huge amount of feces, but it's still gross. My general surgeon had me get a barium enema to locate the fistula and see how bad the DV is. I am scheduled to get part of my colon removed this Thursday.

I hope all goes well with your surgery. DV causes such horrible problems! Let us know how you get on.
