Five days away from Aguablation procedure

Coming down to the wire on the surgery date. I got to admit, there were more things to do than I realized. I'm probably saying that because it's 3 hours in the car one way to get things done. Did anyone have to get a cardiologist clearance before the procedure? That could be normal for all I know but it helped me out a lot. The "Echo Stress Test" had my right knee aching something terrible. I received a very good report from the cardiologist and he actually used the word "inspired" when speaking of my age, blood pressure and the condition of my heart. I'm 60...ish and haven't led a perfect lifestyle concerning heart health but it looks like I dodged a possible bullet there. Maybe I should start watching that a little more closely? Anywho, I feel a little less nervous about the actual procedure but still concerned about recovery time. It's not the pain or discomfort of it all that's got me worried as much as getting back to work. It's coming up on crunch time at my job starting in a few weeks and I will be needed. I wish timing could have been a little better for all of this but I'm not going to put it off till next year when my deductible hasn't been paid like it is now. It's not just about the money but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a factor. I'm just tired of this whole 5 times a night and bacteria infections landing me in the hospital. I'm hoping for the best.

Robert all will be fine. Had pre=op examination. checked heart rhytm etc. Nurse could not believe at my age not on any medications. Had the op ( aquablation) on 9th October. POst op was concerned the TWOC has not worked. Uro called me last week, assured me not unusual for someone who has had a catheter for many weeks (mine fitted early August). The bladder has become lazy and needs re-training. Advised a TWOC can be done in 2 weeks but to take Tamsulosin 3 days before.

Thanks for the reply. I got bumped up to yesterday, October 30th. I'm done and back home. You're right, it was all fine. I posted a few lines about it just now before I read your reply.
