five months into this an my careless PT ripped off...

YES, a very experienced PT got careless and after five months, his dumb careless decision result is ripping the supraspinatus muscle tendon repair completely off the humeral head again.  Thankfully, his stupidity did not damage the infraspinatus repair with screws or the subscapularis rips.  FIVE MONTHS and now it has to be repaired again.  HUGE SETBACK.  VERY UPSET and very angry.  We deserve better.  I will be okay.  I was healing nicely until the dope PT changed up the routine and got careless with dumbbells despite my protest.  The loud pop heard throughout the clinic was my the rip.  FIVE MONTHS.  now starting over again.  I will make it with a new PT at a different clinic.  My surgeon/treating orthopaedist is not pleased with PT.  UGH.  FRUSTRATING in pain.  Return to sobfest.  What is wrong with PT????

Oh henpen I don't know what to say. We are so careful with our recoveries and a PT damages you to that extent....I am speeechless. i feel your anger and upset. I would have taken to my bed in tears.

All i can add is keep strong and I admire your " I will be okay", that's the attitude.

Do come back and vent whenever.

Take care, my thoughts are with you.

5.5 weeks out of the re-repair (revision).  Different PT at a different organization is spectacular.  Pain-free PT.  Passive ROM is already up to 145 degrees while laying on the treatment table my back on the table.  Encouraged.  Still icing a few times (or more) daily 30-40 min each time.  The other two injuries one requiring surgical repair and one partial tear continue to heal without incident.  Slow and steady.
