Flagging of HIV status

Should a patient HIV status being flagged on the Medical Record Folder / Hospital System so that "Extra Precautions can be taken by healthcare professionals to minimize the risk of transmission whilst providing care to the patient?

    Should it? Absolutely. All retroviruses or uncurable diseases are flagged in such a way. The law allows it, all medical providers do it, and common sense requires it.

    Well, for my opinion it should be. Prevention is always better than cure. I don't want others to suffer, it is spreading to fast in this age where sexual interaction is not much a talk and an issue.
