I have found that taking Flagyl with orange juice and holding my nose when I swallow, I don’t taste the awfulness of this drug. Thought this might help someone   Taking with water or Sprite was terrible

No it’s pill form but starts dissolving with liquid that leaves horrible taste. The pharmacist says all companies are different and it could be some are worse than others. I don’t remember the last time I took this for a month having this taste

I always just put the liquid in my mouth and throw the pill (flagyl) as far back as I can and swallow!

No...I put whatever I am going to swallow the pill with in my mouth first. Then throw the PILL as far back as I can....and swallow. I don't taste it that way

Yes liquid form, that does sound horrible,I take them in large tablet form always after eating something and flushed down with loads of water.

They make me feel extremely tired and grotty but seem to do the job

I have left off the last dose of the day, mainly because I’m nauseous. Still taking 875 Amoxicillin 3x  and Flagyl 500 twice a day

      Hi there,

Not surprised you feel nauseous. a lot of heavy duty antibiotics in your system.

My only suggestion is to try and not take them on an empty stomach, even if it is only a slice of white bread or cracker.

Hope you are near the end of your course.

      Good luck!
