Join the club pauline!!  I’ve had PMR for 6 years (79, on 4mg).  I got to 3mg a few months ago but then tried to drop to 2 1/2, Wham!  ‘Here we go again’ I thought! You are not alone!  You’re lucky though (only pain in the morning) - how I wish.😏  We’ll keep going, I just do what I can, when I can.

    Good luck!  💐💐

At such low doses wouldn't be prudent to try dropping by a 1/4 rather than 1/2 mg?

Yes Pauline, from a 80 year old 2 year newbie. The stiffness and pain that can be knock down by Prednisone is from PMR. If have done some activity that could cause the pain try NSAIDs. If they don't help, it's PMR pain.

Thinking positive with a smile. ??
