having another flare up and finding these harder 2 bear each time pain doesn't know where 2 go just all over the new pain lately is a sharp pain down my thumb that is stopping me in my tracks when it happens and making me go aaahhh regardless of where I am or what ime doing

in bed just now want to get up but so sore and dizzy I know staying in bed is the wrong thing but seems the best idea for a bit longer.

took 2x pregabalin at 4 am but they do nothing for the pain so I am going to stop taking meds as feel it a waste of time why fill my body with pain relief when I still have the pain even my morphine does nothing but make me drousy

You have my sympathy...   I totally relate to the pains in the region of thumbs, they drive me nuts.  I get it 'ALOT'   and into my Wrists..  it drives my to distraction at times and near 'spare'...

I use cold packs on my wrists and thumbs whenever I can...  Heat/wheatbags to on accasions.

NO painkillers work on my periferal pains.   Painkillers only help relieve my migraines.

Take care, and I'd try some Voltaren Gel and massage it into wrists and thumbs, sometimes it helps to relieve the worst of the pain for 20mins or so.  I just keep applying it constantly...

Again take, all the best for the Season and New Year!  :-)

Chris and deb separate from your other pain maybe the pain in your thumb and wrist is carpel tunnel syndrome and there is an injection which seems to work really well . Worth an ask at doctors .

Try spraying biofreeze on your hands and wrists. You can also use arnicare gel or add vetiver and lavender essential oil in your lotion. They were all natural and really help.
