Have you tried CBD oil/cream?? (THC free/non-psychoactive) My friend swears by it and said it’s changing her world. She uses a cream. Praying you feel better!!

I’ve been going to a massage therapist trained in John Barnes Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) & it’s made a tremendous difference!! It’s not the rough deep tissue MFR...it’s outstanding! Genevra Lipton in her book, ‘The Fibro Manual,’ talks about it a lot...awesome book too!

      Praying you feel better 💕

Hi Nathalie, I would suspect that you have had a barrel full of emotional stress of some kind lately right? I think finding ways to manage the stress in your mind and body can help you cope much better. Talking things out with a close friend or just getting out all your feelings and thoughts in a journal can also be extremely helpful. It helps me to get a better perspective on my problems or worries. And If it is weather related pain, then heat and Epsom salts hot baths can also be soothing and comforting. I can’t give you much advice on meds Nathalie, because I choose to handle my Fibro pain in a more Holistic way. Perhaps some others can help you in that department. Sending you some warm gentle hugs! Hi sorry to hear your having a rough time with your fibromyalgia, I was in a bad flare a few  weeks ago myself. I was off work for 5 weeks. I went to visit a chiropractor to see if they could help and OMG what a difference he has made to me. I am down to painkillers twice a day my mobility has improved and I feel so much better. I can’t believe the difference in 4 weeks it might be worth having a look into this for you x

Hi it’s all to do with your central nervous system and how your spine if out of alignment can have a massive impact on your pain. The difference I feel after a few weeks treatments is amazing 😋

    Hi Nathalie51,

I take CBD oil orally. It's tastes awful so I sort of drop it down the back of my throat and chase it down with something thick to drink like a smoothie. I use to go to acupuncture and have cupping sessions which helped a lot but got expensive after my mother became ill and is no longer able to work to provide for herself. I can't recommend any medications because I absolutely hate them. But unfortunately I take them. I am unable to function at all without them. I take Cymbalta which has the most horrifying withdrawal syndrome so I can't get off it. I take Ibuprofen 800 mg, Tylenol Arthritis strength, Diazepem to relax my muscles and my mind because stress causes it to be worse. Every once in a while the pain becomes unbearable for me. This has only been in the last couple of years but the pain is so horrible that I can't even shower. When it's that bad, I end up in the ER where they put me on some strong narcotic which I hate but gives me a little bit of a break from the pain. Then I go back to my regimen and I can keep it from getting too bad for a while anyway... this is really a depressing way to live.
