hi, I have had ulcerative colitis for a number of years, I recently had a bad flare up with bloody stools, lots of pain and loss of weight, I cannt put wright back on again. I had a colonoscopy three weeks ago and was given pesaries to calm it down again. Has any one else had this problem. I also diverticulitis and non cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis

Did the meds work for you? Has it calmed down?
What meds are you on, Steroids?

Are you sure they are pessaries and not suppositories? I've never heard of pessaries used for UC. I may be wrong of course!
