a while ago i noticed that my cuticle on my toenail has disapeared and the nail has turned slightly yellow and was slightly swollen. The swelling has since gone down but there is like a red flap of flesh coming out from under the nail fold cuticle area. it doesnt really hurt but im confused as to what it is and what i can do to fix it

I would say go have it checked out if you can. Yellow is normally a fungus, but red flap of skin under the nail? Hmm... I'd say a doc visit is in your near future.
