I have had an outbreak of fleshy growths in my anal area over the past couple of weeks. I have visited the doctor who seems to think they are Piles and given my antibiotics and a cream for piles. However this has had no positive effect. The growths seem to be spreading and are extremely itchy but not painful.
I was wondering if anybody had any ideas?

Looks very much like HPV, also known as genital warts. Almost certain of it.

those are not piles, your DR is wrong. these are Genital Warts, they need treating asap by Crytosurgery.

Thanks for replying, really appreciate your advise. Why asap? Are these dangerous? Either way I'll be booking myself into a sexual health clinic on Monday.

nope there not dangerous at all, but they can keep spreading if not treated promptly.
