Flickering lights, white lines, anxiety after laser procedure for retinal detachments

Hi everyone, my husband recently had a laser procedure done for a retinal detachment in both eyes. After a couple of weeks he started noticing static and shimmering lights in his peripheral vision. After a month, the shimmering progressed to his entire field of vision and he can see white lights everywhere he looks. He says it's even hard to see my face when I am talking to him and he is looking at me. He describes these lights as 'lightening'. I am attaching a picture for reference. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this at all?! He had his assessments done and they keep saying everything is normal. We are in the process of contacting multiple doctors around the world to figure out what to do.

We are trying our best in every way -- nutrition, prayer, setting intentions, removing evil eye. He has his good days but my husband's anxiety has really been getting the best of him lately. Is there any hope I can provide him that things will get better ??image
