FLOATERS

Hi last few days ive developed stringy cobweb like floaters in my left eye,everytime i move the eye there in my vision...i visited the eye clinic and saw an opthamologist who check3ded my eye and retina and said it was nothing to worry about,she couldnt speak the best english so was hard understanding what she was saying,will these floaters dissapear?do they fade?or eill i have to accept them.very annoying.thanks in advance for responses

    Generally, floaters are just debris, old cells, floating around in your vitreous humour in your eye & if you have been checked by an ophthalmologist & she says that your eye is ok, then you will have nothing to worry about.  The problem is, that once you have spotted them, then you will keep seeing them.  Dark glasses can help if they are a problem

    I used to have BIG floaters and cobwebs in my right eye..  One floater looked like a big bug.  I had to have a macular membrane peel.  To do that my surgeon had to replace the vitreous.   That took away the floaters completely.  Just wished the membrane peel had worked.
