    Hi Pam

I went from 40 to 60mg around over 3weeks now ( 4 weeks on wensday ) will be seeing my doc on wensday for check up to how Iv got on....

Well my experience was the 1st week on 60 was great, I felt back to norm with my depression any way, then I seem to level it self out, so all ok.... just after 2weeks i seem to have a drop in our I felt, for 4 days I felt very low, and fed up with life again, I couldn't believe it, after the four days I started to feel good again and I'm still feeling great ( other then menopause 😡wink

So just the one blip I had, god knows why, but hoping it stays at this level now for good....

So bear with it, as you may just be the same, and be back on your feet very soon..

    Good luk 🤗X

      Rrrr bless u Pam

But I know what you mean, I throught by going up to 60mg would be ok, as fluoxetine is in my body any way..

Those 4 days were not nice, and I had my grandson for two of those days, and when you feel that bad, all I want to do is be at home, as I live on my own any way, so was a fight for me to have him all day...

So 🤞Crossed you will get out of it very soon, and feel good, I really do hope so, I must of admit Iv still seem to have the shakes abit🤔 Since being on 60mg, don't bother me a lot but I know they are there, so hoping they will go as well soon..

Good luk and hope all is well wen you go back to see your doc.

      Big hug 🤗X

      Hi Pam

Thank you so much, it's lovely to speak to you and every one on here..

Yes I think your right when you say it effects each one of us SO different, when you increase..

I never had the problem when I went from 20 to 40mg seem to sale through without side effects, as I was told that it would be like starting from the beginning again, and would have the side effects all over again, so when I spoke to my doc I told him I was worried about it, but he did say, as it was in my system any way that it wouldn't be like that, and I was fine, so going up to 60 never botherd me, just had that 4 day blip and then been fine...

BUT we are all different, and the drug will effect us all so different to, what works for one, won't always work  for the next...

so some will sail through with out any effects, some eles will have a nitemare..

So lovely to here from you, do please let me know if things settle down for you 🤞

Lots of hugs... and please feel free to talk to me any time 🤗X

      Hi Pam

I had a extra day of my grandson today, he's only 16 months, and a handful lol... I love him to bits, BUT I'm not in my twentys any more, and I struggle as I had blood clots on my lungs two years ago, and my lungs are scared now, so breathing is bad, just walking up the staires I get out of breath lol... yep I'm only 53 too 😆...

I'm sooooo glad that you just said felt a little better this evening, really hope that was just small set back and you get back to normal now 🤗...

      I live near Nottinghamshire...

Yep really lovely to share our ups and downs on this site, and glad your lending your ear to me..

Keep on the ups now, 🤞Keep me in formed how you are going, on the good and bad days ( hopefully not to many bad ) ...

      Hugs to all 🤗X

It is normal to have up and downs. I took me 7 months to really level out on this medication and even now I still have an off day but I know what it is. As my specialist said these are not supposed to numb you to life... it is up and down and then slowly but surely it will get less and less bad but you are human and still might have blips. You have only just started the increase you will get the side effects again it is not an instant feel better just because you increased.

Thank you for that nice message ! I've had setbacks over the years and have been on 40 mg for about 4 years , I don't remember feeling worse on the increase , but maybe this increase is affecting me differently x
