Flu and SSRI's

Hello everyone,

I've been on Celexa for 5 month and up to 40mg for the past few weeks. I felt like everything was starting to come back to normal and then I got the flu. I feel like day one with depression and anxiety. It's coming up on 7 days Saturday that I've had the flu but I feel better now flu wise just tired.

My depression and anxiety are still here and they were gone before the flu. Has anyone experienced this and how long did it take to get better?

Just hobestly scared that I won't get better!!!

Thank you!!!!

Hello Don, in the beginning I did have intrusive thoughts and have heard many people say the same thing. They have since gone. It's all part of this crazy ride.

A lot of people's magic number is 40mg. Or could be 30mg. I would talk with your doctor.

They will go away on the right dose.

Also ask him about the new swab test that is out to see what SSRI will work best for you.

      God Bless!!!
