Flu Jab

Hi,

The last couple of years I have had the flu jab on reccomendation.

I’m not sure whether it’s a good thing or not. I keep reading that it makes things worse.

I’m booked in next week for it. Any advise on whether to keep the appointment or cancel?

TIA Carrie x

Hi carrie, i have had the flu jab every year and feel fine apart from makin me feel bit tired for 24hrs, oh and ur arm hurts after, ive also had the phnemonia jab aswell and had no problems with that either, i would say keep the appointment and go for it, it is a dead virus they give u (thats what they told me the other day) but if u dnt feel happy with it then dont take it as nerves and worryin about it wnt make ur tummy good either, 🤞Good luck tho

Thanks Jenny. I’ve never had any problems with it.  I’ve just been reading things online (as you do) and I wonder of these things can make you worse sometimes.  You just don’t know do you.

I will probably just go for it. Seems silly not to really if I’ve not had problems previously. Was just intrigued to see what others experiences were.

      Thanks again Carrie x
