Flu Jab yes or no

Can't decide if it is worth trying the flu jab. I know it's not a live injection, but wary in case it flares up my immune system further

Funnily enough, I asked my GP about this the other day and she said, get one. Never had one before so Ive no idea if it aggravates our immune systems or not. I'll be interested to hear other people's views and experience.

It is hard with us. Because of our condition we need the jab, but may have bad reactions to it. The clinic I used to go to advised against it, because some people with ME had had bad reactions.
It is weighing the pros or cons: risk of flu, or risk of bad effects. Also to do with whether you see a lot of people, or travel.

I have a friend whose ME/CFS was caused by a bad reaction to the flu jab so have always avoided it but everyone is different so it's a personal choice.

I normally have a flu jab and normally OK with it but I avoid taking it if I'm going through a rough(er) phase. There are sometimes mild side effects but that's often the case for people in general. We're all different though and have to weigh up the pro's and cons.

Thanks for your replies. Personally I am choosing not to have the flu jab this year, as I'm quite run down at present
