Flu like symptoms

I've been diagnosed with OA throughout my body. Possibly Sarcoidosis but not 100% confirmed. Also told I have Pagers Disease. I'm not sure what I have to be honest but seem to have flare ups. At the moment I've been getting severe pain in my hands, knees and ankles. But this is also accompanied with flu like symptoms and nausea. Also getting hot flushes with it. This is new for me and I wondered if anyone else has experienced similar.

I'm at the Metabolic Bone Disease clinic on Friday. Hoping he'll have some answers. I'll report back if I'm told anything useful.
?I hope you find something to help.

I have the same issues. I have spells of pain, swelling & a general feeling of malaise. I, too, have OA nearly everywhere w/BTK replacement & bilateral thumb arthroplasty. Lab test will show no inflammation but my glucose & RBC goes up which is a subtle form of inflammation. Doctors do not take this seriously. I call it a flare just like RA patients get. Sometimes I go on pretisone & always do ROM exercises, heat & cold theraphy, watch my diet(anti-inflammatory), use tylenol, a pain pill when available, increase fluids, increase my Curamed, pomegranate & french pine bark supplements.
Doctors do not take OA seriously even though it is the #1 reason for joint replacement. Wear & tear on joints is certainly a componet for OA but there has got to be more to it. Good luck to you. OA bites

I'm interested in your diet. What is Curamed? How does the French pine bark supplements help? I totally agree about a flare up. My consultant at the Metabolic Bone Disease clinic keeps forgetting about me but I've managed to get an app this week.
Best wishes.
