      What are your symptoms?

Fluid in the back of the eye doesn't suggest tears... so what took you to the doctor?

I'm afraid I have no idea, hopefully Ozurdex does the trick and the problem is resolved.

I see.... this all comes from the eye doctor....

I'm so sorry I can't help except to say to put all your questions to him and don't be afraid to ask.

I suggest you write everything down before you go and if possible take a friend with you. The presence of a third person often helps to get the questions answered, especially if they have your list too and make sure you don't forget anything.

I hope all goes well for you.

Hello. I think you may be going through what I am experiencing. I had a haemorrhage at the back of my eye five weeks ago. I have lost a lot of sight and as well as the blood behind my eye, I have a lot of fluid build up which is a swelling of

blood and fluid over the centre of my eye which is called a macula oedema which is a secondary condition to a haemorrhage. I have a choice of having monthly Lucentis injections or an Orthodox steroid implant. I have been so confused by the information given to me but I have decided to try the Lucentis first as the steroid injections have more side effects. I have been very scared and don't look forward to any injections but also I don't want to deal with a cataract either which the steroid gives. Let me know how you get on.

Hello youlia26347.  I can understand why you are so frightened. Were you diagnosed with Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion with macula oedema which was my diagnosis? You have been through so much! I am hoping the Lucentis will work for me as I didN't want the steroid as I know it causes a cataract and I didN't want that as well! glaucoma is very worrying.  Lucentis is supposed to have a good success rate and doesn't seem to have so many side effects but there are no guarantees. I am awaiting my first injection and the thought of it is going through me. Please keep in touch. Kindest Regards

Hi Jennie1913: I am back I just wanted to let you know that I still get my injections of eylea and my doctor wanted me to see another specialist of retina which will be on April 27, 2016. I wanted to prepare some questions for him to see what exactly is going on with me? I wanted to know if you have any questions for me to ask my doctor or any information that you can pass it on to me to ask my doctor, I know the time will be very short and they will not give you a chance to ask too many questions, that's why I wanted to be ready for him this time. Please let me know A.S.A.P. with much of appreciations.

My husband has this problem. Our doctor told us it’s do to stress and he had to take medication and get laser eye surgery to close the leak where the fluid is coming from. It happened the first time 3 years ago and now again this week.

Unfortunately, I had both my retinas' to detach at the same time on Nov. 15, 2016. I believe mine came from STRESSED and bereavement of my My Beloved Mom. Also years prior, I was prescribed unwarranted medication and not being informed of side-effects that causes the Retinas' to deteriorate. My right eye was detached around 95% and vision "Blind." After prayer and emergency surgery, I am able to declare like the blind man said after Jesus Christ restore his sight,."I was blind; but now I can see!."#Enlighten

Hey youlia26347 and Jennie, how are you two doing since all this took place 2yrs ago? I'm asking because my son is only 25 and he's going through the same thing. He went to the eye Dr about a month ago and they told him about the fluid behind his eye and mentioned having surgery and getting ejection's and today they're telling him they need to hurry and do the surgery because it's much worst then they thought. It really scares me and unfortunately I can't be there with him because he's currently in jail serving time... Please update me from your experience two yrs ago. I pray everything has worked out for all of you suffering these issues....
