Yeah it is a fluid and not a rash. It looks like blood and doesn't smell too nice.

Ive been to see several doctors and specialists and I'm still none the wiser. I really don't have much confidence in our health system (Ireland).  Every doctor I seen said I was the first person they've seen with this ( not what I wanted to hear).

Urrrr!! I think you have got a real bad fungal infection in your bb you need some antibiotic cream to rub in or tabs....im surprised the GP didnt give you any. Perhaps the fungus has got inside you.

Buy some Canesten anti fungal cream from the chemist and try it. I had a fungal infection there once and canesten got rid of it. Hope this helps

Thank you Lilian. Ive got constant cramps and tenderness too. I've been in and out of the doctor surgery and hospital with not one of them giving me an anti fungal. I do have canesten cream already so I might give it a go. I'm also trying to get to see the specialist again. Any time I go there I get a member of "the team",who are on placement in that dept. I've never actually met the specialist.

You also need to go on an anti fungal diet to treat the cause not just the symptoms

    Hi Nickk

Before you apply the canesten thoroughy dry your bb and surrounding area first use tissue if the towel is too rough.

If it is a fungal infection and it clears up when using the canesten you must make absolutely sure after a shower or bath that you thoroughly dry your bb because fungus love warm moist areas where they will thrive. Hope you resolve the problem soon.

    Hi Nick,

I forgot to mention to apply canesten once in the morning after shower or bath and once in the evening before bed after shower or bath thoroughly drying your bb. Do this for about a week.
