Fluid on the lungs

Hi so for the last 3 months I’ve had such bad chest pains I was unable to lay down I’ve been in so much pain after seeing a doctor was told I have pleurisy two different types of antibiotics later still no better so last week I was sent for a chest X-ray which showed I had fluid on the lungs and I’m to wait up to 2weeks for a ct scan I’m just really worried has anyone had this? What happened? The pain isn’t to bad tonight but I’m just so worried 2weeks is a long time to wait 😢
