its 15 weeks tomorrow since I started on flu its a long hard journey for us all

just need a bit of reassurance. I can't bear to tell my partner I feel awful again

    Hi Linda

Sorry it's taken so long to reply - only just found your post!

I expect it is a blip - did something happen to trigger anxiety or did it just well up inside you? Everyone who has been on Flu for a good while says there are still bad days - just like in life, I guess. I'm going to guess and tell you the thing is not to concentrate on how bad you feel - go back to basics and try distraction and deep, slow breathing.

Poor old you - thought you had it cracked and then a whamo! of anxiety. It will pass, it always passes eventually! Try to relax and let it wash over you and disappear behind you.

It must be testing for partners to see us down - but yours knows this about you already and accepts it. Sounds like you need to do thhe same about yourself!

Good luck, may it pass and be gone forever, very soon!

Thanks for that Ian seriously considering changing med as I don't think this is the one for me. It's the side effects neck back pain it makes me feel so tired

Hi Linda, you got it in one saying it's a long hard journey, probably a little different for us all I imagine. I'm only on the 20mg day 16, got my 1st doctor review Monday. Hopefully it is just a blip for you and tomorrow will be better again, though I would certainly think about telling your partner what's been happening, you're lucky to have such a supportive partner compared to some unfortunate folk, he's been supportive up to now I'm sure he'll be equally supportive now, best wishes etc David
