    Hi Emma

I've been on fluoxitine a few times now and haven't experienced that happening, after 7 weeks you should be feeling quite normal ..maybe you should go back to your doctor to see why this is happening, you may have to up the dose

Hope this helps a little and you're feeling better very soon

Is it true that when you first start out on these meds. sometimes your symptoms may worsen some before getting better?Today will be 2 weeks for me and I've had a couple of anxious days.I know it takes time to work I'm just so impatient

It has been about 8 weeks for me and I also was doing well for a couple of weeks. I am on 50 mg of Prozac but I tend to notice that a little before and during my period I will get more anxious and my OCD gets worse, which is do to the hormonal changes in your body. I don't know what your situation is but I figured I'd put that out there because it is a possibility. I hope this helps. All we can do is take it one day at a time. 😊

    Hi Emma

Yep like others have said it might be worth upping your dose. I was on 20mg for 8 weeks and finally started to feel better but then had a slump again. Went back to the docs and upped to 40mg which after a few more weeks seemed to do the trick. Good luck - especially with the sleeping cos I know how bad that can be.
