Fluoxetine and birth control pill/early period

I just started taking this medication about 10 days ago and I am also on Zovia. I am supposed to take my last birth control pill tomorrow but I started my period today. I am only on 5 mg of fluoxetine as I cut my pill in half. I'm on the pill for heavy and irregular periods since my last child. I'm almost 39. Anyone have experience with this? I am hoping it won't keep messing up my cycle Thank you

    I just feel the fluoxetine totally negates my birth control rolleyes. At least the flu side effects seem to be gone smile

      Did anybody feel like they had the flu as a side effect?

      Last two days I felt awful

      What birth control are you on? My Endocrinologist wants to put me on Loestrin because of the PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). My anxiety and depression goes high when I'm on my cycle. I'm scared to take a BC pill because it says if you have any psychiatric disorders it can cause it to get worse. I don't know what to do. I'm just tired of feeling like this. My anxiety and OCD is bad all month, but it gets worse about a week before my period and some during.

      I'm on zovia. I was on ortho tricyclen and loved it but that was years ago. I only went back on to regulate bc after my 3rd child my cycles were short and heavy. I have never had that before. I'm considering a hysterectomy. I'll be 40 next year so I'm ready! Not so much pms stuff just anxiety in general

      Yeah I had a really upset stomach and it ached like I feel when I have the flu

      today I feel fine stomach pain subsided it seems like the side effects are different every day

      Feels like they are slowly going away though

      Mines like a dull ache and cramps like period or ovulation and I was not near that and shouldn't have o pain bc the pill

      I have hair loss, cysts on my ovaries, acne on face and body. I've also heard recently anxiety can be a symptom. Do you know if it is?

      Mine are only about 3 days and maybe a half and the first day into second is heavy
