Fluoxetine Day 34 will I ever recover from this agoraphobia on this medication

i am on day 34 of 40mg fluoxetine i have seen some improvements but i have had agoraphobia for 5 years now i also have PTSD due to a health issue a few years ago which was quite serious anyway i know the meds will work as im seeing little improvements but im still not leaving the house for anything i only can walk to the shop havent socialised in over 5 years and dont have any friends anymore due to isolating myself anyway i was just wondering will the 40mg flux heal my agoraphobia and make me able to go back to work as havent worked in 6 years due to agoraphobia

    ah i dont know about agoraphobia

    but im happy to be your friend. if you use the analogy of me being off work and slowly starting to come round to it. you should start to feel less worried in social environments. or even getting back to basics. speak to your gp about an antipsychotic at a low dose. this has helped me greatly. i take promazine.feels like a shield

      @ricky04578 hey thanks , thats very nice of you to say that. how long was you off work for. i struggle with leaving the house to even go to the shop its the anticipation of doing anything that stops me from leaving the house . I dont actually know if it is agoraphobia because i

      havent got a actual diagnoses . i have been on 40mg for 5 weeks 6 days no but im still not seeing the biggest of improvements and leaving the house is still a big thing that i struggle with
