Fluoxetine muscle twitching

Hi All.

Just joined to see if anybody else has experience of muscle twitching on Flu.

Been taking the medication for 6 weeks now, it started with my right eye twitching, then my cheeks. The eye and cheek twitching has subsided but now i have it in my legs, arms and fingers.

it's not overly troublesome but Im not sure whether to continue with the flu as the twitching is quite persistent.

My doctor has suggested a switch to escitalopram but im not convinced about going through start up symptoms all over again.

Any advice from someone who experienced this would be greatly appreciated!

I get a twitch once in a while, usually when I am laying down but nothing overly concerning

Hey ed, I think you get these on most antideps, so I wouldn't be too concerned if the fluox is making you feel better overall.

same here, been on it for over a year and sometimes it just comes out of the blue, my eye will twitch or something like that, but it goes away pretty fast.
