ive been on generic prozac (floxetine) started at 20mg am now at 60mg for the last 12 years and have never expierenced any forgetfulness. ive done alot of research and it seems that usually benzos like xanax, have the CHANCE of forgetfullness and linked to a small increase of dementia in longe term use.
remember when using a medication to weigh the benefits and risks.
for example my anxiety was so bad i quit my job, lost 20 pounds, could not function, could not drive, racked up 1000s in er bills, prozac gave me my life back so even IF forgetfulness was a side effect it would STILL be 100% worth it to me.
