    Hi Sarah,

I had to fly when I was about 4 months post op because my mum passed unexpectedly.  I had a connection in between flights, the 1st was 4 hours long and the second was about an hour long.  I didn't find it uncomfortable nor did I have any other problems.  I was dressed in regular clothing with no support stockings.

If you are concerned because of other potential issues, then I'd check with your doctor first.

    Best wishes!

Hi, I flew at 6 months on a 4 hour flight. I didn't wear a stocking, but I did move around a bit.

    Hi Sarah,

you dont need to, but if you felt better wearing them, boots now do 2pairs in a pack that look light tights. Really comfy and not difficult to put in like the hospital ones. Wore them to Australia and back and also recently went on a short flight following foot surgery. X

You shouldn't need to unless you are at risk. I am also 6 months ha post op and fly next week flight 2hrs 45 mins but I have a DVT and PE so have been advised to wear them. If you are worried I would say wear them for peace of mind. Glad for the tip about the boots socks will go and get some. Enjoy your trip and yes keep your legs moving however you can on board
